Woodwork: from cutting list to invoice

Joiners, carpenters, windows. A generic area measurement is not enough. The list has to run through costing, purchasing, installation and actual costing – on the job, not in a second Excel file.

What the pack brings

The “Roof timber cutting list” pack brings line items for the document draft: rafters, purlins, ridge board, OSB boards, counter battens, screws and the check against the measurement. Order by e-mail or UGL file from the same line items. Actual costing that the master craftsman believes, because time and material are set against the quote. Documentation in the job folder.

Everyday life

Quote from the list, material reserved, installation planned. Deviations are visible before the final invoice goes out. The Schedule assigns workshop and installation. Overbooking stays a conflict instead of a surprise on Monday morning.

In the job

Time, photo, internal chat, e-invoice. Catalogue and wholesaler into the same list of line items, as far as the interface is in place. Generic area measurement stays with interior finishing. A business with painting and joinery stays one account.
